Job Description
Performs accurate patient registration for outpatient laboratory specimen
Demonstrates computer proficiency
Assures proper collection, completion and reporting of tests ordered
Reviews pending logs and investigates/resolves outstanding issues
Reviews and orders send-out tests for reference laboratories
Assists in the scheduling and training of team members within the department
Investigates problems and missing specimen
QualificationsMinimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum Experience
3 years of clinical experience preferred
